Collection: Venom Mob Movies

The Venom Mob weren’t just another group of Shaw Brothers fighters—they were a unit. Their chemistry came from the fact that many of them were friends from childhood, long before fans started calling them a legend.

Their movement came out of Peking Opera training, acrobatics, and traditional Chinese martial arts, which is why their movies feel faster, stranger, and more inventive than almost anything else from the period.

That legacy also carries some sadness: Chiang Sheng died in 1991, but the Venom films still stand as some of the most distinctive martial arts movies Shaw Brothers ever released.
