STORY OVERVIEW

General Su Can retires from military life after rescuing a Qing prince and returns home with hopes of building a peaceful life with his wife and son. He opens a martial arts school and devotes himself to his family, unaware that his adopted brother Yuan Lie has returned from war consumed by ambition and resentment.

Yuan Lie eventually betrays Su Can, kidnaps his son, and leaves him near death. After surviving the attack, Su Can must overcome physical and emotional devastation while searching for a way to defeat his powerful enemy. His journey leads him toward a new form of martial arts and ultimately transforms him into the legendary Beggar Su, setting the stage for a final confrontation with Yuan Lie.
