STORY OVERVIEW

A skilled fighter is attacked and left with no memory of his past. Although he cannot remember who he is, his natural kung fu ability remains as sharp as ever. His path crosses with a clever con man, and the two become involved in trouble with criminals and corrupt figures who quickly discover that the mysterious fighter is not an easy target.

As the pair becomes deeper involved in the conflict, clues about the fighter's identity begin to surface. What starts as a series of comic encounters gradually becomes a personal fight for justice, leading toward a final confrontation with the men responsible for his troubles.

MARTIAL ARTS HIGHLIGHTS

He Has Nothing But Kung Fu mixes traditional hand-to-hand fighting with comedy and fast-moving action. Gordon Liu displays the athletic fighting ability that would soon make him one of Shaw Brothers' best-known martial arts stars, while Wilson Tong and Lau Kar Wing add their own martial arts expertise. The film features a number of lively fights and a memorable rooftop finale.

WHY COLLECTORS PICK IT

Collectors appreciate He Has Nothing But Kung Fu for Gordon Liu's early performance, Lau Kar Wing's direction, and its combination of humor and old-school martial arts.
