Collection: Sammo Hung

Sammo Hung became one of the most important figures in Hong Kong action cinema, working as an actor, director, producer, and fight choreographer. His career helped shape the way martial arts and action films were staged, combining physical comedy, acrobatics, traditional kung fu, and detailed fight choreography.

Trained at the Peking Opera School under Master Yu Jim-Yuen, Sammo studied alongside Jackie Chan and other members of the Seven Little Fortunes. His training gave him a strong foundation in acrobatics, stage performance, and martial arts that became an important part of his work in Hong Kong cinema.

Sammo Hung worked across a wide range of martial arts and action films, both in front of and behind the camera. His collaborations with other major Hong Kong performers and filmmakers helped shape the fast-moving action style associated with the cinema of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
