STORY OVERVIEW

After his village is attacked by bandits and members of his family are killed, Chen Jun travels toward Shanghai in search of relatives and a new life. His martial arts ability soon draws the attention of a local criminal gang, pulling him into a dangerous world of violence, crime, and betrayal.

Chen eventually finds a new direction at the Jing Wu Martial Arts Academy, where he studies under Huo Yuanjia and begins developing the discipline and sense of justice that will shape his future. As conflicts surrounding the academy grow more dangerous, Chen's loyalty and fighting ability are tested, setting him on the path toward becoming the legendary Chen Zhen.
