Unfortunately, problems can sometimes occur that prevent our customers from fully enjoying their purchase. Our goal is to help identify and correct the problem as quickly as possible.

Common DVD problems include disc recognition errors and picture skipping. These problems may be caused by DVD player compatibility issues or by scratches or marks on the disc.

DVD Player Incompatibility

To help determine whether a DVD is defective, we ask that you play-test the DVD in at least one other DVD player of a different make and model.

If the disc plays properly in another DVD player, the issue may be with your original DVD player rather than the DVD.

In many cases, the laser head may need cleaning. Most DVD player manufacturers recommend using a cleaning kit periodically to help maintain the player.

Scratched or Dirty Discs

Scratches or marks on the surface of a DVD can sometimes occur if the disc becomes dislodged from the case spindle during transit.

ClassicKungFuMovies.com never intentionally ships DVDs with loose discs in their cases.

Normally, minor scratches will not affect playback. Many light “spindle marks” can also sometimes be removed by gently buffing the affected area with your thumb or a clean, soft cloth.

When an approved defective DVD is returned, ClassicKungFuMovies.com pays the shipping cost to send the replacement back to you.
