Defective DVDs & Returns

At ClassicKungFuMovies.com, we take pride in providing quality import DVDs at affordable prices.

Unfortunately, problems can occasionally occur that may prevent you from fully enjoying your purchase. Our goal is to help resolve any problem as quickly as possible.

Defective DVDs

Common DVD playback problems may include:

  • Disc recognition errors
  • Picture skipping
  • Playback interruptions

These problems can sometimes be caused by DVD player incompatibility rather than a defective disc.

DVD Player Compatibility

To help determine whether a DVD is defective, we ask that you test the disc in at least one other DVD player of a different make and model.

If the disc plays properly on another DVD player, the issue may be related to the original DVD player rather than the disc itself.

In some cases, the DVD player's laser lens may require cleaning. DVD player manufacturers commonly recommend periodic cleaning of the player.

Scratched or Dirty Discs

Scratches or marks on the surface of a DVD can sometimes occur during shipping if the disc becomes dislodged from the case spindle.

ClassicKungFuMovies.com does not intentionally ship DVDs with loose discs in their cases.

Minor surface marks may not affect playback. Some light spindle marks can sometimes be reduced by gently buffing the affected area with a clean, soft cloth.

Defective DVD Returns

Before returning a DVD, please contact us so we can help determine whether the disc is defective and provide return instructions.

If the DVD is determined to be defective:

ClassicKungFuMovies.com will pay the shipping cost to send your replacement to you. You are responsible for the shipping cost of returning the DVD to us.

Returns

We ask that all eligible returns be shipped back to ClassicKungFuMovies.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

We do not offer cash refunds. Returns are handled as exchanges only.

If the returned DVD is in stock, we will exchange it for the same title.

If the same title is no longer available at the time we receive your return, we will gladly allow you to exchange it for another title of equal value.

Important

Returned DVDs must be received within the applicable return period. Returns that do not meet the requirements of this policy may not be accepted.
