Sun Chien became one of the recognizable members of the Venom Mob, the group of performers associated with some of Shaw Brothers Studio's best-known martial arts films of the late 1970s and 1980s. With a background in Peking Opera, Sun Chien developed the flexibility, timing, and coordination required for demanding martial arts choreography.
