Lu Feng became closely associated with the Venom Mob through a series of Shaw Brothers martial arts films during the 1970s and 1980s. Known for his strong physical presence and ability to play both heroes and villains, he became one of the recognizable performers in the group's ensemble productions.
Lu Feng's background in Peking Opera provided the physical training needed for the demanding movement and fight choreography used in many of his films. Working with director Chang Cheh, he appeared in productions built around martial arts, weapons, acrobatics, rivalries, and large ensemble battles.
Lu Feng and the Venom Mob
Lu Feng appeared in films including Five Deadly Venoms, Crippled Avengers, Kid with the Golden Arm, The Daredevils, The Magnificent Ruffians, Flag of Iron, House of Traps, and Masked Avengers. He worked alongside Philip Kwok, Chiang Sheng, Lo Mang, Sun Chien, and Wei Pai in several of the Shaw Brothers productions associated with the Venom Mob.
