Story Snapshot:
A mischievous Shaolin disciple named Hsia Hu uses clever tricks and deception to escape the harsh discipline of monastery training without ever truly mastering kung fu. Knowing his lazy nature all too well, his Shaolin mentors secretly send the monk Hui Kang to keep watch over him once he enters the outside world. Soon after leaving the temple, Hsia Hu discovers that people mistake him for his feared twin brother Hsiao Fu, a notorious criminal and deadly martial arts expert. Enjoying the respect and fear his brother’s reputation brings, Hsia Hu begins impersonating him at every opportunity despite having little real fighting skill. But when a dangerous former accomplice returns seeking revenge, Hsia Hu is forced into a deadly confrontation that threatens to expose his deception once and for all.
