Abbot of Shaolin, also known as 少林英雄榜, Shao Lin Ying Xiong Bang, A Slice Of Death and Le Combat mortel de Shaolin is a Shaw Brothers film directed by Ho Meng Hua. It is one of the Shaolin Temple themed martial arts films and their rebellion against the Qing’s, featuring David Chiang and Lo Lieh in his famous role as Priest Pai Mei. The High Abbot of Shaolin Temple dispatches brother Chi San (Lo Lieh) to learn new fighting styles and the techniques of modern weapon making in the hopes of combating the Chings.
