ClassicKungFuMovies.com was built from a lifelong passion for martial arts and the golden age of kung fu cinema.

My journey started at just 8 years old when I first saw Five Fingers of Death. Growing up in New York City during the early 1980s, I experienced kung fu films the way they were meant to be seen — on the big screen. Times Square, 42nd Street, and local theaters were filled with unforgettable martial arts films that would later become legendary.

In 1987, that passion became a business.

We started as One Stop Video, a mail-order company featured in Inside Kung Fu and Inside Karate magazines. Over the years, we evolved into KungFuDvdMadness.com, then ClassicKungFuDVD.com, and since 2017, ClassicKungFuMovies.com.

Through every stage, the mission has remained the same — to keep classic martial arts films alive and accessible to collectors and fans worldwide.
