Product description

Legendary Weapons of Kung Fu, also known as 十八般武艺, Legendary Weapons Of Kung Fu, New Legendary Weapons Of China, Shih Ba Pan Wu Yi, 18 Legendary Weapons Of China and Les 18 Armes légendaires du Kung Fu  is a 1982 martial arts fantasy film directed by Lau Kar-Leung. It takes place during the late Qing Dynasty when Empress Dowager Cixi dispatches her agents to various factions of the Boxer Rebellion in order to find supernatural martial artists that are invulnerable to western bullets. When one of the leaders of these groups disbands his forces, assassins from the remaining factions are sent out to kill him for his apparent treason. As the title of the film suggests, a great variety of fights take place involving the "legendary weapons."

(Synopsis): During the Boxer Rebellion, Lei Kung is appalled by the slaughter around him. When his dissent puts him in the path of deadly masters who want him silenced, his only chance for survival lies in a secret arsenal of the most deadly weapons ever created

Overview: During the Boxer Rebellion, gun toting foreigners invade China and begin slaughtering all who oppose them. Finding their skills no match for this deadly new firepower, Lei Kung retreats, but finds himself pursued by other kung fu schools who want him silenced. Using every Chinese weapon available, Lei takes on his informer brother in a battle to the death. A martial arts classic with breathtaking choreography. Dont miss it
